The beautiful mass, dedication and blessing of the Sister Blandina Wellness Gardens in Trinidad, Colorado was this past Sunday, July 18, with the Bishops of Pueblo and Colorado Springs, along with Governor Jared Polis, in attendance.

We are honored that our Founder, Linda Weise, was invited to create an original piece of living history for this inspiring event. Linda, along with Conservatory students Elena Soto, Baylee Bollinger and Emma Lee, reenacted moments in Sister Blandina Segale’s remarkable life, which was dedicated to serving the marginalized and most in need in schools, orphanages, hospitals and in social service work.

As Linda said best, “We are incredibly grateful and humbled to have been a part of this special day in Colorado’s history.” To learn more about the Sister Blandina Wellness Gardens at Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center, visit mtcarmelcenter.org.
