The Colorado Springs Conservatory has been bringing great jazz to the greater community for 20 years now.
Unique in its format, the CSC First Friday Jazz Nites include CSC Mentors and Artists as well as students and alumni.
We celebrate this ongoing community event as it grows into it’s new space at the Gold Room in Downtown Colorado Springs at 18 S. Nevada Ave.
“We are thrilled to bring this long standing performance experience to the Gold Room,” says Ashley Guinto of the Gold Room. “We are certain folks who come will be pleased with their experience.”
Moving to the Gold Room affords the Conservatory to expand the format of Jazz Nite with food, full service bar, and a Late Night Conservatory All Stars Concert from 9:30PM until close.
Tickets for this early evening experience are $10 for adults and students 18 and under for $5.
Doors will open at 5:30 PM and guests will enjoy the Gold Room menu which include unique tapas.
Singer Songwriter students from CSC will serenade guests from 5:30 PM-6:15 PM.
Stage is then set for JAZZ NITE from 7:00-9:00 PM.
At 9:30PM the Gold Room will rock with select featured artists and bands that are affiliated with the Conservatory.
This first Friday will feature the original works for CC Wells and her band who will be launching their first single of their new album.
There is no door cover for guests after 9PM.
International and nationally acclaimed artists/mentors Wayne Wilkinson, guitar; Todd Williams, drums; Andy Burtschi, bass; Tom Fowler, Saxophone will join the students for JAZZ NITE.
