Dear Friends and Supporters,
Because of the ongoing pandemic the 2020 Wine Festival of Colorado Springs is canceled. While we regret having to make this decision, it was out of concern for the safety of our participants, volunteers, and the community. The Wine Festival of Colorado Springs is a unique experience that offers participants an opportunity to learn about wine through fun and entertaining events. However, due to the threat of Covid-19, it is not possible to organize events that provide a safe and healthy environment.
The Wine Festival of Colorado Springs has a twenty-nine-year history of not only providing wine education, but also of raising money for the arts. We are a non-profit, all-volunteer organization with 100% of our net proceeds distributed to a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the arts. Over our twenty-nine year history, we have raised over $2.5 million for various organizations. The last five years we have partnered with the Colorado Springs Conservatory, and we are heart-broken that we are unable to provide funding for them in 2020.
Our thanks to those who chose to be sponsors for this year’s event and those who purchased tickets in advance. We ask that you consider these to be donations to the Colorado Springs Conservatory for 2020, or at the very least allow them to be applied to the 2021 Wine Festival of Colorado. If you have questions, please contact the Colorado Springs Conservatory at (719)-577-4556.
The year 2021 marks our 30th Anniversary, and we are excited to plan a bigger and better series of events to celebrate the occasion. The 2021 Wine Festival of Colorado Springs is currently scheduled for March 11-13, 2021.
We are very thankful for the long-term support of the Colorado Springs community and know that it will continue to support us in the future. We look forward to the opportunity to provide fun and educational festivals for years to come.
Until we have the chance to enjoy the wines of the world in person once again, please stay safe, and we wish you good health in the days to come.
