Colorado Springs Conservatory

The Colorado Springs Conservatory provides after-school arts immersion programs. The 'core' program combines weekly, basic instruction for students interested in the arts while promoting ongoing application of lessons learned and responsibility driven goals that ultimately encourage each student to experience previously unrealized individual potential. Areas of concentration include music, theater, musical theater, and jazz, taught through a wide array of classes that expose students to a well-rounded understanding of the art form. Programs are offered for our younger at early childhood ages birth though 3 and then on through age 19. Community classes include programs for adults The Mission of the Conservatory is to inspire, motivate and challenge students to aspire to their highest potential through arts immersion studies and community arts advocacy

We'd like to send a big THANK YOU to our good friend James Proby at The Men's Xchange at 409 N. Tejon St. for providing fashion tips to the young men of Colorado Springs Conservatory as they prepared for their guest appearance at the Give Kids The World Gala in Kissimmee, FL on September 18.
🎼
From his personal attention in explaining all the measurements he took (a hallmark of the exceptional customer service at The Men's Xchange) to his recommendations of things in the store, James provided a first class shopping experience that should make Brooks Brothers take notice!
🎼
And with his big heart for serving those who serve the community, James was more than generous with the Conservatory team. Lead Mentors Jeff Grady (far left) and David Musante (far right) found jackets, shirts and accessories that gave them a classic, yet individual look for this special event. Thank You James, and thanks for what The Men's Xchange means to Colorado Springs.

Congratulations to our dedicated and talented students, Sophia Peterie, Meredith Aguirre, Maya Sanchez-West, Mac Peterie, Grant Howard, and our lead mentors David Musante and Jeff Grady on their guest appearance at the Give Kids The World (GKTW) Gala in Kissimmee, Florida on Saturday, September 18.
🎼
We are so proud of each of them and their first-class representation of the Conservatory and of Colorado Springs at this very special black tie event. The evening was a culmination of our "Summer Concert Series," with the group performing songs as heard in Colorado Springs parks and at several community events and celebrations throughout June, July and August!
🎼
Many thanks to our host Pamela Landwirth, President and CEO of GKTW Village, for her gracious invitation; to Elise Boyles, Assistant Director of Development at GKTW, for her assistance with all the event coordination; and to Lisa Compton, Executive Creative Director/Owner of Metropolis Productions, for assisting with instruments and audio equipment at the gala.
🎼
Special thanks to Conservatory's-own Emily Nelson, for traveling with our students and mentors, to our Founder, Linda Weise, for this special connection with GKTW; and perhaps most importantly, to the Peterie, Aguirre, Howard and Sanchez-West families for their enthusiasm and their trust in allowing "the band to go on the road!"
