Holly Haverkorn received her B.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing from Lindenwood University. She spent a number of years in competitive performance improv before heading the theatre program at Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs for 16 years, where she was honored as a 2021 Colorado Teacher of the Year Finalist and the Colorado Thespian 2020 High School Educator of the Year.
She is currently a Theatre Mentor for the Colorado Springs Conservatory, an Educational Outreach Coordinator for Front Range Theatre Company, and a member of the Advisory Board for TheatreWorks of Colorado Springs.
Holly is also the founder and Executive Director of Consent Center Stage, a non-profit organization that provides education around consent and safety for youth in touch-centered arts disciplines.
EXPECTATIONS: Holly teaches process over product. That means that each student should expect an experience that is equal in quality to the amount of individual effort expended. We take joy in learning and growing.
FUN FACT: Holly is most proud to be a devoted wife and parent of two wonderful children, both blossoming performing artists themselves.
