Hannah Egger

Hannah Egger is a Certified Child Life Specialist with a master’s degree in child development and a former elementary school teacher with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She has spent years as a nanny and camp counselor, as well. Hannah has always had a passion for music and the arts, taking piano, cello and voice lessons, being a member of many choirs, as well as doing musical theater in high school. After choosing not to pursue a degree in vocal performance, she always hoped to find a way back to music at some point in her life.

Hannah “fell in love with the Conservatory” the moment she walked in with her 12-month-old, and knew she wanted to be a part of the team, in some capacity. Her passion for the overall health and wellbeing of children and families has been the undercurrent in each of her job experiences. She has an exceptional ability to quickly build rapport with children of all ages and develop trusting and playful relationships under some of the most challenging circumstances. She is motivated by seeing hard work pay off and watching children and families learn and grow. She believes music is an incredible vehicle for learning and improving literacy, math, social and self-regulation skills. As the mother of a two-year-old, she has developed a new understanding of the challenges parenting can present, and has become more sensitive to the needs of parents and families as a whole. This opportunity to combine her professional skills with her passions for music and motherhood is an absolute dream come true!
