Nathan Fischer Classical Guitar Concert

Free – $10.00The Colorado Springs Conservatory is excited to announce a classical guitar concert by Nathan Fischer, Wednesday, 15 February 2017, 6:30 pm at the Colorado Springs Conservatory in our upstairs atrium area.
Nathan Fischer is currently a Senior Lecturer of Classical Guitar at the Universiti Teknologi MARA in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The evening of music will reflect a diverse and exotic program of works from SE Asia and Oceana. For those who are fans of traditional Latin repertoire you will also be charmed by a selection of works of the Paraguayan guitarist, Agustín Barrios Mangoré who is referred to as the Chopin of the guitar.
Nathan Fischer has a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Eastman School of Music and has held faculty positions at the American University in Cairo in Egypt and the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. His performance and research has taken him to more than a dozen countries around the world. We know Nathan is excited to return to his home in Colorado Springs and share his music with us.
