COMPANY Program
Age: 10-18, placement by mentor recommendation or audition; weekly time commitment 8.5+ hours.
The CSC COMPANY program is designed to provide a more intense and advanced experience to those students dedicated to their artistic endeavors with the goal to prepare them for a career in the music industry, or for auditions into a college or conservatory program.
Curriculum
Foundational Classes
- 45 minute weekly private lesson
- Piano Lab
- Theory
- Ear Training
- Studio Class
- Elements of Performance (meets once a month)
Electives
- COMPANY students may choose as many electives as they wish
- Elective classes include Composition, Recording Arts, Singer Songwriter, and Theater
Ensemble
*COMPANY students will choose one or more ensemble
Ensembles include Chamber Music, Cabaret, and Jazz
CORE Program
Age: 10-18, no audition required; weekly time commitment 4.75-5.25 hours.
The CSC CORE program is designed to be a comprehensive music and performance education. The goal of the CORE program is twofold: to equip each student with the skills and knowledge necessary to be excellent musicians, and to inspire and challenge them to reach their artistic and creative potential.

Bridge to CORE Program
Age: 8-18, no audition required; weekly time commitment 3-3.25 hours.
The CSC Bridge to CORE program provides students with much of the same learning and performance experience as the CORE and COMPANY programs but with less time commitment and rigor. This program is ideal for students who are not able to commit to the hours required of the CORE and COMPANY PROGRAMS. It is also an excellent option for students who wish to start at a more basic level before moving to CORE or COMPANY.
