The Colorado Springs Conservatory is looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Part-Time Vocal Instructor to join our faculty! This role focuses on teaching private and small-group voice lessons within our after-school programs, working with students of varying ages and experience levels.

We’re seeking someone who loves working with young performers, values healthy vocal technique, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, student-centered arts community.

What You’ll Do

• Teach private and small-group vocal lessons in our after-school programs
• Help students develop healthy vocal technique, confidence, and musicianship
• Work with age-appropriate repertoire and performance skills
• Support students in preparation for showcases, performances, and conservatory events as needed
• Prepare curriculum that reflects accommodations for individual student differences

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in vocal performance, music education, or a related field (formal degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Prior experience teaching voice to children and/or teens
• Knowledge of healthy vocal pedagogy for developing voices
• A reliable, organized, and friendly teaching style
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to pass a background check

• Experience in musical theatre and/or contemporary vocal styles
• Experience teaching in conservatory, school, or after-school settings

Schedule & Pay

• 10–15 hours per week, primarily afternoons and early evenings
• Hourly pay based on experience and education
