A Dynamic New Space That Sets the Stage For a Stable and Prosperous Future.
After more than a year of searching, the Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC) is thrilled to announce that we have found a new home that fully supports our mission of delivering life-affirming arts education to students, families, and our broader community.
Starting August 1, 2025, CSC will begin a long-term lease at First United Methodist Church (FUMC), located at 420 N. Nevada Avenue in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs.
What This Exciting Move Means for CSC:
- Room to Grow: The new space includes larger classrooms, performance areas, a recording studio, and spacious private lesson studios—supporting current programming and future expansion.
- Continued Independence: CSC will have full autonomy over two dedicated floors within the facility.
- Convenient Access: Our families and students will use a secure dedicated CSC entrance on Boulder Street (the south side of the building).
- Free Parking: All CSC patrons will enjoy complimentary parking in FUMC lots.
- Downtown Continuity: Staying downtown ensures consistency for our families and preserves our vital relationship with our creative district and arts community.
- Creative Collaboration: CSC will be joining other local arts organizations such as The Chamber Orchestra of the Springs and the Colorado Springs Chorale in taking residence in this historic building – creating a downtown creative hub.
- Ongoing Partnerships: We will continue to build upon our many district partnerships, supporting students in schools throughout the region.
- Shared Values: FUMC believes in fostering a community based on inclusion, grace, justice, and hope – which directly aligns with our values at CSC.
