WHO WE ARE
The Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC) is the premiere multidisciplinary arts education space in the Pikes Peak Region. A space where students are encouraged to find their own voices and pursue the visions they have of their futures.
We believe that exposure to performing arts studies creates more empathetic, thoughtful, confident young people who will have lasting impact on our community as they grow and become the change makers of the future. All under one roof, a student can study theatre, take a private lesson in voice, play in a jazz ensemble, and record an original work in our recording studio.
Our mentors have carefully curated a curriculum that can guide our students in their discipline of study from infancy all the way through high school graduation. Our programs are divided into four bands of study, based on age, that promise to deliver the necessary skill development throughout the course of their studies here. Group classes for our youngest students transition to individual study that include private lessons (which includes music theory and ear training), studio classes, special topics, and a robust performance schedule for our older students.
- Early Childhood (0 – 7 years old)
- Exploratory (3rd – 5th grade)
- Foundational (6th – 8th grade)
- Preparatory (9th – 12th grade)
- A Positive Note (Ages 14 - Adult)
EARLY CHILDHOOD classes at CSC are designed to introduce our youngest artists to the joys of music, theatre, and literature. These classes are tailored to specific age groups with curriculum designed to support developmental milestones. Classes involve singing, moving, learning, and celebrating the students’ natural instincts. The primary focus of Early Childhood classes is to instill a love for creative expression and to celebrate the art of play each and every day.
Early Childhood Programs include:
- Infant Piccolo (0-1 years with guardian)
- Toddler Piccolo (2-3 years)
- Soprano (4-5 years)
- Alto (6-7 years)
During the EXPLORATORY years, students are introduced to every discipline that CSC has to offer.
The goal is to guarantee that students experience the breadth of opportunities in the performing arts so they can discover the discipline that most speaks to them.
Exploratory students will have the opportunity to perform in plays, music ensembles, new works, and school-wide concerts and events.
EXAMPLES OF EXPLORATORY STUDIES:
- Instrumental
- Voice
- Theatre
- Music Production
- Music Theory
- AND MORE!
In middle school, FOUNDATIONAL students select a discipline that they are most interested in exploring on a deeper level.
Our experience shows that during these years, students naturally start to gravitate towards a specific instrument or focus, and we can begin to create an intentional pathway of education through high school graduation.
FOUNDATIONAL and PREPARATORY students receive private lessons, group classes, and a multitude of performance opportunities.

GENERAL TUITION INFORMATION
Program tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is paid in 8 monthly payments by the 15th:
September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April
- First months tuition is due at the time of enrollment to secure students’ place in classes & lessons.
- Payments should be made monthly through the Jackrabbit Parent Portal.
- In person payment at the front desk with cash, check or credit card.
- Tuition not paid by the 15th of the month will be automatically charged in Jackrabbit before the end of the month.
Tuition is based on the total number of class weeks (not months) in our full school year calendar. We then divide the total tuition into 8 payments. This helps keep things simple while keeping the monthly expense lower for our families. Some families do choose to pay for half a year, so they pay the monthly amount x4 to get the tuition total or even for the full school year which would be 8x the monthly tuition amount. If a student comes into mid-year or leaves before the end of the school year, we will adjust their tuition accordingly. So it is not the number of weeks each month that make up the monthly tuition but the annual tuition divided into 8 payments for the year.
Multiple Child Enrollment discounts apply ONLY to FULL Conservatory programs.
*Additional private lessons & any related program fees are not discounted
Student with the highest tuition rate pays full tuition, next highest tuition rate receives 10% off their program tuition, lowest tuition rate receives 15% off their program tuition (3 or more students).
