This holiday classic is appropriate for all ages and runs just under an hour. Join us for a delightful and affordable way to bring in this holiday season.

“We are so pleased to have been bringing this incredible little opera to thousands of audience members for nearly two decades now,” says Linda Weise, Founding CEO of the Conservatory and director of the production. “You can’t help but to feel happy and in the true holiday spirit after you share this experience with us.” The Conservatory has set this production in the era of the Great Depression bringing the stark realities of poverty and faith to the forefront. “It’s a profound design,” says, C.C. Wells Director of Design for the piece. “ The students feel the impact of their work in a different way, it feels very real.” The artistry of the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs brings the production to a heightened experience for both cast and audience.

The cast of hundreds includes friends from the Colorado Springs Chorale, the Ballet Society of Colorado Springs and students from Corpus Christi. “It’s always been a way to be inclusive and about community. We have even been able to include some of the special needs students from our Positive Note Program here at the Conservatory,” says Weise.
