A Personal Message from Linda Weise, Founding Executive Director

For 20 years, we have depended on the generosity of people like you to help us present world-class performing arts programming along the Front Range. People like you, who believe in the enduring power of our cultural legacy.

Thanks to your support, 99% of the high school graduates in our CORE afterschool program pursue collegiate studies, often with significant scholarships. We witness CSC alumni as they succeed in operating rooms, board rooms, and green rooms; becoming the creative and compassionate leaders of the future. Currently six Conservatory alumni are on the faculty, returning to give back to the school and the community.

On behalf of the board of directors, mentors, students and families, thank you for believing in us.

Why Invest? The Colorado Springs Conservatory…

  • Develops creative, focused and savvy leaders, who contribute to our society in all fields of endeavor.
  • Attracts young professionals and their families who engage with this dynamic cultural centerpiece.
  • Brings arts enrichment programs to children who would otherwise go without. At- risk students represent more than half the youth we serve.
  • Our non-discriminatory and inclusive environment instills compassion and empathy.
  • Nurtures self-esteem and respect in a non-judgemental environment.
  • Offers a safe and productive after school environment which fosters healthy peer interaction and friendships.
  • Teaches social and career-building skills important throughout life. Engages students in over 300 community outreach performances annually creating civic-minded, community advocates.
  • Improves academic performance.
  • Provides a competitive edge for those pursuing higher education and careers in performing arts.
  • Contributes to the economic vitality of the city and the region.
  • Brings a world-class cultural development and performance venue to the heart of downtown Colorado Springs.
  • Inspires people of all ages with our public performances.

CON ANIMA SOCIETY

Con Anima is a musical term that means ‘with soul’ and it is the mantra that permeates all we do at The Conservatory. Con Anima Society members are extraordinary investors in the future of our students and programs; people who understand the enduring impact of arts education.

Con Anima Society members give an annual gift of $1,000 or more. Thank you to our Con Anima Society members from the thousands of students we have served.
