Directed by The Conservatory’s Holly Haverkorn and starring Senior COMPANY students Mark Autry, Caroline Carr and David Musante, The Colorado Springs Conservatory’s production of Little Shop of Horrors features some of the best young talent in the region in a truly unique staging of this cult classic.
The story is about a down-and out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers the florist fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite. There may be some language and subject matter that may be considered inappropriate for children under 12 years of age.Watch the action unfold, revealing the true identity of the plant.
