Linda Purl
Linda Purl, Recent regular roles on television series have been: Barbara Fortnum, Reckless; True Blood, Barbara Pelt; The Office as Helene Beasley and the Golden Globe Award winning series Homeland, as Elizabeth Gaines. She has starred in over 45 made-for-TV movies, and is especially known for her series roles as Charlene Matlock on Matlock and Ashley Pfister, Fonzie’s fiancée, on Happy Days. She appeared on Broadway in Tony nominated The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Getting and Spending; and Off-Broadway in The Baby Dance and Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Regional theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet, Juliet; Oliver; Grease; Camille; Same Time Next Year; On a Clear Day You Can See Forever; Three Penny Opera; Hedda Gabler; The Real Thing; The Little Foxes; The Merchant of Venice, Portia; A Streetcar Named Desire, Blanche; Hippolytus, Phaedra; A Glass Menagerie, Amanda; Nora, Nora; original production of the Pulitzer Prize winning play Dinner with Friends; Beyond Therapy, Prudence; The Road to Mecca with Miss Julie Harris; A Doll’s House, Nora; Love, Loss and What I Wore; Vagina Monologues; The Year of Magical Thinking; Copenhagen, directed by Judy Hagerty Lovett; at such theatres as Long Wharf, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Old Globe, Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, Santa Fe Opera, Cleveland Playhouse, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Rubicon Theatre Company, Berkeley Rep, Williamstown Theatre Festival (six seasons), Naples Philharmonic, Laguna Playhouse, Lensic Santa Fe, the Princess Grace Theatre in Monaco, Imperial Theatre, Tokyo, Japan. Born in Connecticut, Purl grew up in Japan, becoming the only foreigner to have trained at the Toho Geino Academy. Her studies continued at Neighborhood Playhouse and Lee Strasberg Institute. She is Founding Director of the California International Theatre Festival.

Purl currently tours with her solo concert Midnight Caravan – Celebrating the Great Ladies of the Glamorous Nightclub Era. Solo albums are Alone Together, Out of this World—Live and Midnight Caravan. Concert venues include Lincoln Center Jazz, Feinstein in NY, Catalina Jazz Club in LA, Crazy Coqs in London and Satin Doll in Tokyo.
Lenore Raphael
LENORE RAPHAEL

Critics, jazz hosts and jazz lovers all agree that she is one of the most SWINGING mainstream pianists today. Influenced by Oscar Peterson, Bud Powell and Bill Evans, she has taken these influences and created her own recognizable sound.

Lenore had the honor of performing at the tribute to Oscar Peterson in Toronto, Canada where she performed her well known composition. “Blues For O.P.”

She has won ASCAP awards for her original compositions, which appear on her own CDs and other artists’. They have been played on Continental Airlines in-flight jazz stream, and on jazz stations worldwide, including their inclusion into the Jazz At Lincoln Center jazz stream.

Lenore has recorded 7 critically acclaimed CDS on the Swingin’ Fox Music label. Some of her recordings have reached Top 10 airplay and her 2006 recording “Invitation” and 2012 recording “Loverly” were up for Grammy nominations.

Lenore now has her own radio show called “Lenore Raphael’s JazzSpot” on purejazzradio on the internet where she interviews and performs with famed jazz artists and up and coming ones as well. Along the way she has performed and recorded with such greats as Clark Terry, Warren Vache, Howard Alden, Harry Allen, Bucky Pizzarelli, Jack Wilkins and more.

In addition, she is a talented jazz teacher and has done highly acclaimed Jazz Master Classes and colleges and universities world-wide. She was also director at the summer jazz workshop at Montclair University in New Jersey and ran the summer jazz camp at East Tennessee State University.

Lenore is now the artistic director for two ongoing jazz concerts in New York City and in North Carolina.
Wayne Wilkinson
Wayne teaches at the nationally accredited Colorado Springs Conservatory where he helped established the current jazz program and is adjunct professor for non-classical guitar at Colorado State University – Pueblo.

Wayne Wilkinson is a recognized and accomplished professional guitarist with more than 38 years of experience performing and touring coast-to-coast. Wayne is a former guitarist of the premier Air Force jazz ensemble “The Airmen of Note” based in Washington, D.C. and the “Falconaires” based in Colorado Springs.

Wayne is a regular performer playing original compositions, traditional, straight ahead, and innovative bebop jazz from the great American songbook and other jazz classics. He tours with pianist Lenore Raphael in addition to performing as a soloist with The Atlanta Jazz Party, 2015. He is performing at East Tennessee State University in the Spring of 2016.

Wayne received the Pikes Peak Jazz & Swing Society’s Alice Award for contributions to jazz in the Pikes Peak area and was the featured artist at the Colorado Springs Jazz Party which included Harry Allen, Ed Polcer, Allen Vache and many others in the classic jazz world.

Performing venues have included Carnegie Hall, The White House, the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage and major jazz and special music festivals across the country. He has performed for multiple Presidents, heads of state and other dignitaries.

Wayne has played with Bill Watrous, Bucky Pizzarelli, Gene Bertoncini, Johnny Smith, Michael Brecker, Randy Brecker, Houston Person, Nelson Rangell, Harry Allen, Lenore Raphael, Ed Polcer, Allan Viche, Bria Skonberg, Henry Mancini, Joe Williams, Ernie Watts, James Moody and Stanley Turrentine. Other people he’s played with in his career are President Clinton, Jack Jones, Dianne Schuur, Bob Hope, Roger Williams, Louis Belson and The Four Freshman. He is a repeat guest performer with Earl Klugh’s Weekend of Jazz.
