Each year students from the Colorado Springs Conservatory participate in the Western Spirit Committee’s annual western art silhouette project competition. This year students were awarded a second place prize for their textural, multi-media approach to the piece. Below is a note from the Committee and photos of the three winners. Congrats to all who participated!
The Western Spirit Committee appreciates your commitment to supporting the western art silhouette project and the dedication of you and your students to produce amazing works of art!
The mixer brought a record number of people last night and the overwhelming response was that this project is continuing to gain momentum in the Colorado Springs community. And that you, our schools and students, keep successfully raising the bar with the quality, imagination and creativity.
St. Mary’s placed first, The Conservatory second and Air Academy Digital third (photos attached).
Congratulations to each of you!
St. Mary’s High School – 1st place
